PCOS to get a new name

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is being renamed. What do you think about this? And what should the new name be?

Polycsystic ovaries are caused by a hormone imbalance but cycts on the ovaries are not necessarily present in all women with the diagnosis.  Hence the reason for renaming the syndrome. Regardless of what it’s called hormone imbalances can be corrected through proper diet, exercise and stress reduction.
One of my favorite ways to begin correcting hormone imbalances is through beet juice. Now, before you get grossed out at the thought of drinking beet juice because you think you don’t like beets–let me tell you that beet juice is actually quite yummy. This is coming from someone who doesn’t enjoy eating beets.

A great juice recipe for PCOS is 1 romaine heart                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   1 beet                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     2-3 carrots

The romaine is high in chromium and so helps to stabilize blood sugar, the beet helps move hormones through the liver to be properly disposed of so new hormones can be synthesized, and the carrots add Vitamin A precursors which helps to minimize chances of miscarriage. I personally drink this juice nearly every day just to help keep my liver healthy and make sure my blood sugar stays stable. It’s quite delicious!!!
